Skyhawk CE’s latest update improves the user experience while introducing several important quality of life changes to the application.
Returning users will now see the Notification Center when launching the app. This new view pulls together all your devices that have alerts and warnings.
This is where you’ll find all your devices that have received any type of activity alert, such as a trigger. Once you’ve had the opportunity to check the device and deal with the alert, just swipe left and tap “Clear Alert” and the device will be removed from the Alert Center. This feature will be very helpful in managing your work flow.
Any devices dealing with any possible device issue, such as a low battery, will appear in the Warning Center. Once the related issue has been resolved, it will no longer appear.
Updated Reed/Magnet Status Tile
The device status page now provides a “connected/disconnected” (trap door open or closed) status tile. This shows the door status of deployments that have been setup with magnet pulls to directly detect door closure events. An operator now has the option of setting up a trap with a high sensitivity setting on the accelerometer, capturing the slightest animal movements, along with the reed switch pull magnet to detect a door closure. No more concerns about filtering out false alert if the accelerometer is set to a high sensitivity level.
This updated functionality may require an update of the device firmware. If an update is required, the reed status tile will so advise.
Skyhawk Support is ready to help you update your device firmware.
Face ID/Fingerprint (Biometric) Login Capability
Take advantage of your devices built in biometric capabilities, such as Face ID or fingerprint scanning, to log in to Skyhawk CE.
All these changes add up to an indispensable update to the Skyhawk CE application that will provide long-term users and new users alike with a streamlined user experience.
